college

college
Going into college I dint know what to expect. I was really nervous and scared. I thought it was going to be hard but not as hard as it has been. The hardest thing for me has been juggling soccer with school. Even though soccer has always been a big part of my life there was a point where I thought it was best off if I just quit soccer. Playing for Oxnard College has been really fun, but it gets really hard because I get home late from the games and I still have to go home and do my homework. Then I sometimes have to leave classes early and miss a big part of class time. But there is also a good part of college; I love going to college because I get to become more independent an responsible. It has helped me be more organized with my time and have more motivation to keep on going to succeed in school and in life. I think that the ultimate pay off of struggling and managing college with soccer has been going to my games and giving it my all. Having fun at all my games with my teammates makes all the struggles worth it. Also the satisfaction of knowing that I am doing something to change my life for the better makes me feel very satisfied with my self. Knowing then when I am done with school I am going to have the job I been working so hard on obtaining. I think a major part of what keeps me motivated is to know it’s for the good of my future and that is going to all pay off at the end.

  1. I agree with you, college is teaching me how to manage my time. I've never been really good at it, but it's improving.

  5. If you learn to organize your time now, you will have a better time of it later in life. You learn more from school than just what is taught in the classes.
